Wine and Women on Wednesdays
It's 2020! And this year we are laying out the gathering dates in advance and doing some planning to really get the most out of the precious time we get to spend together outside of our family and work commitments. To accommodate specific events and key dates, many of our events will take place on days other than Wednesdays, but keeping the name to honor our original reason behind the gathering and who knows, it may fall on a Wednesday now again!
This year's theme: An equal world is an enabled world.
Individually, we're all responsible for our own thoughts and actions - all day, every day.
We can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and celebrate women's achievements.
Collectively, each one of us can help create a gender equal world.
Let's all be #EachforEqual.

Who doesn't like a good cooking class? And how about one that celebrates our Gal-friends? There is a DLM cooking class on Friday before Valentines day, "Galentines" Day and thought it might be perfect for a commitment to your girl friends and the rest of the year! A bit pricey, but includes dinner and the wine!
March 12 (Luncheon)

International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality. We decided to participate in a local event, close to the date, Women Of Influence, at the YWCA. We will celebrate Dayton’s most influential women, all of whom have made a difference in our community through their dedication to the YWCA mission of empowering women, eliminating racism and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. We want to have an entire WaWoW table (10 of us!) or even more. Let Shelly know if you can attend.
